BuildMyTVApp operates the website at buildmytvapp.com, the related customer tools, and television apps or channels that we ourselves publish under the BuildMyTVApp name.

This policy covers two related offerings.

First, our website and customer tools. Those tools help organizations prepare branded television apps. Accounts are created for customers by their organization; there is no public self-signup.

Second, television apps and channels that BuildMyTVApp publishes under our own name. That catalog is our programming. It is not a customer church, ministry, or media channel.

If you use a television app published by one of our customers, that customer is responsible for that app, its viewers, and its own privacy information.

When you have an account, we collect the email address and password you use to sign in, and a display name if one is provided. We also store the organization and channel information you enter, such as names, descriptions, artwork, contacts, listing details, and content you upload or link for your catalog.

If you write to us or use optional support chat on the site, we receive the messages and contact details you choose to send.

Our systems keep records needed to operate the service, such as sign-in activity, billing status, and actions taken in an organization account.

If you subscribe, payment card information is handled by a payment processor. We do not store full card numbers. We keep the subscription and invoice records needed to provide and bill for the service.

Television apps and channels published by BuildMyTVApp do not require a viewer account. We do not collect names, email addresses, or other contact details from people who only watch those apps.

The television or app store you use may keep its own device, network, or viewing records under that platform’s policies. We do not receive a named profile of you from those platforms as a condition of watching our published apps.

Customers use our tools to manage their own channels. Content, contacts, and listing details they enter belong to their organization. Their television apps and the people who watch those apps are their responsibility, including any privacy page they publish for viewers.

This Privacy Policy is not a substitute for a customer’s own privacy information. Do not treat BuildMyTVApp as the publisher of a customer channel.

We use information to operate the website and customer tools, create and maintain accounts, process payments, provide support, improve reliability, and communicate about the service.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use information from our published television apps to build advertising profiles of viewers.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, operate the website, and remember session state. If you use optional support chat, that feature may also store a small amount of data in your browser so the conversation can continue.

You can control cookies through your browser. Blocking some cookies may prevent you from staying signed in or using parts of the site.

We use service providers to help us operate the website, process payments, host video, send email, and offer customer support. They may process information only as needed to perform that work for us.

BuildMyTVApp’s website, customer tools, and the television content we publish are not directed at children and are not intended for anyone under 13. Our published television catalog is general-audience programming. It is not a kids’ channel, not made for children, and not designed to attract children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at support@buildmytvapp.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Contact inquiries are used to respond to your request. We delete inquiry details from our application database after 90 days. Short-lived, non-reversible abuse-control identifiers are deleted within 24 hours; we do not store raw IP addresses in inquiry records. Email correspondence and provider backups have separate retention periods, and deletion requests are handled as described below.

We keep account and organization information for as long as it is needed to provide the service and meet legal, billing, and security obligations.

Canceling a subscription stops paid access. It does not by itself delete stored account or channel data. If you want information deleted, email us as described below.

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing support@buildmytvapp.com. We may need to verify the request before we act on it.

Some records may be retained where we have a legal obligation or a legitimate need, such as completed billing records or security logs.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the website, tools, or television apps we publish after a change means you accept the updated policy.
